Chicago

Molly and I braved downtown Chicago for the first time since we were dating. We ate at P.F. Chang's China Bistro, which is one of the best places I have ever eaten. I first ate there in Scottsdale, AZ.

The food was phenominal. Lettuce wraps, Mongolian Beef and Sprouts, Orange Peel Shrimp. Great stuff.

When we came in, we told them of our reservation and began a fun conversation with the General Manager. Nice guy named Larry Gassel. We told him we drove all the way in from Woodstock (1 1/2 hours plus) and he gave us VIP treatment. We got a free appetizer, lettuce wraps. It doesn't sound great, but man, it is incredible.

He checked on us throughout the meal and gave me his card. Hey, if anyone visits downtown Chicago, please go to P.F. Chang's and tell Larry that Steve and Molly from Woodstock sent you.

Sorry about the fuzziness, but it was too chilly to hold the camera steady. Molly kept saying with her teeth chattering, "Chicago, the Windy City!"

Ate at P.F. Chang's tonight for my daughter's 29th birthday. Delicious.
