Danny's Birthday

Danny is 2 now, as of the 24th of February. It's nice to have at least one person in the family with a birthday that doesn't come in autumn. He received a Thomas engine, a Thomas shirt, and a police car. Fun for a 2 year old boy. After two years, we are really in love with this little kid. He's cute and cuddly and fun.

Alright Already!

The folks over at McCoy Construction in Pontiac, Illinois are griping because I haven't posted anything lately. This one's for you.

It's time for a moment of honesty and reality. Everyone who knows me and my brother Scott knows: I'm better looking than my brother, I could outrun my brother, I would rip his arm off in an arm wrestling contest, and I got better grades than my brother.

But my brother, Scott McCoy, is now the most powerful man in Pontiac, Illinois. That's right, he is the new mayor of our hometown. Congratulations Mac.

Unfortunately Pontiac has elected the guy on the right...

And worst of all, THIS guy...

The Pontiac McCoy's are on the move folks. Watch out! Seriously, it's about to get dangerous over there. Watch out! :)

By the way Scott, there are a couple of potholes that need fixing, the water tastes too much like chlorine, that old Hardees is an eyesore, and Pontiacians deserve a day off of work in honor of me. That is all.

Arizona - Extras

From the camera of my Uncle Mike...

Great shot of Doug (left), me, and my dad in front of a great golf hole. You can tell from my wet shoulders that it had been raining, and just after this it started raining steadily until we finally gave up and flew home.

Arizona - Day 4

Well, on the last day of the trip we did everything we could to squeeze in another round of golf. We got halfway (9 holes) and had to quit. It rained for almost the entire time, with enough of a break to take some great pics of the prettiest hole we played at Las Sendas. Tough, long course. Even tougher with a cold, steady rain!

Enjoy...

Arizona - Day 3

Man, horrible day for golf. Didn't play since it rained all day, with increasing intensity. So I really don't have any pictures to post except two random shots. Enjoy! :^/

Arizona - Day 2

Alright, it rained the last 10 holes, but we still had a great time. None of us really played very well. The course was amazing, as the pictures show.

Here's the best picture first. Kids, this one is especially for you...

Arizona - Day 1

Exhausting day. Slept about 2 hours, drive 1 1/2 hours to Midway Airport, flew 4 hours to Phoenix, played 5 hours of golf, watched 2 hours of NCAA basketball, and me need sleepy. The golf was fantastic and the weather was better. Tomorrow shouldn't be too bad, but Friday is supposed to be bad with severe weather maybe.

Here are some flight and golf pics.

In My Mind I'm Going to Arizona

I'm headed to Arizona early Wednesday through Saturday night for a golf vacation that fell into my lap (grandpa is sick). If my room has broadband internet, and I think it does, then I will attempt to post daily pics of golf and more here. Check back starting late Wednesday.

New Website Update!

Steve's new weblog is now officially found at www.stevekmccoy.com. The link doesn't work all the time yet. But soon the site will be fully recongnized. The link previously given is still good too: reformissionary.blogs.com.

UPDATE: stevekmccoy.com works very good now.

Sunshine Lane will probably stay right here.

Snow People

We've had a lot of snow so far this winter, but it's warmer the last few days. It's supposed to be like 53 today. Makes the snow a little easier to pack and roll.
